Yeah! Saucehead and I are excited about it as well.
Registrations received from Phizz and SOTL. I will be responding to you today or tomorrow (was off line most of yesterday) with the registration fee instructions. I think that was the busiest weekend I have had in a long time and never came near the computer except in the a.m. during my sister chat!

No rush on my end, I am going on vacation at the end of the week and will probably not be doing much on the computer while I am away.

I love that we're going to Annapolis! We've set aside the whole day on Saturday to explore. If people would rather stay for dinner there, we can play that by ear, since there isn't an official dinner that night back in Baltimore. I did a lot of exploring on the USNA website during the research phase. You cannot drive on the base so you will have to park elsewhere. They have walking tours and a cool gift shop. You can even eat there, although the Dry Dock seems to be the only one open on Saturday. USNA - Visitor PageAs we get closer, we will try to add on the website, FB and here any special events happening. At this juncture, we have posted what we have found so far. There is a lot of free time to explore on the schedule!

Annapolis is where my roomie and I found the best crab cakes! It was in an Irish pub close to the base.

Just checked my messages to try to catch up on things after having 4 weather-related accidents where I rebroke my left foot and suffered a contusion on the top of the same foot. And injured my tailbone too. What I was checking for was maybe a message or two to me to see if I was okay with all the riots in Baltimore where I live. I did not receive any inquiries. Makes me so sad. I feel I have been forgotten here. Some might think I am being melodramatic but I honestly thought someone would remember I live in Baltimore and ask after me. Very sad right now.

Well, usually for weather-related stuff or natural disasters, we start a general thread and ask people to check in. Unfortunately the Baltimore situation would very likely have run afoul of our rule against discussing politics, which is probably why no one brought it up. That being said, I'm sorry you've been having other injuries and health issues! If you'd like to talk about it, we can take it to another thread. Let's keep this one for the upcoming Horatians Moot. I hope you are still coming! You promised us an English pub!
