I love all those silly and utterly useless "Which (insert movie/series/book here) character are you?"-quizzes, so naturally I also wanted to find out who I'd be in the "Hobbit", Hobbit or dwarf or elf or beast... lotrproject.com/quiz/Turns out I'm Elrond. Which I am so not, but I am happy with the result as I still find that Elrond rocks. Who are you?

I know how you feel about Elrond, Dolphin, for I came up with Galadriel. Huh? How so? I am so not Galadriel for real but well, I love the result nontheless. Fun meme. Thanks for sharing!

I am Galadriel, beautiful and terrible as the Morn! Treacherous as the Seas! Stronger than the foundations of the Earth! All shall love me and despair!

Uh-oh, looks like Mags is having a 'Nuclear Galadriel' moment... *stands back* Whoohoo - I'm Bilbo Baggins! Hobbit to my hairy toes, but with a yearning for adventure.

Here's what I've got, out of my "Lord of the Rings Party Recipes" file. It's at its best when eaten fresh.
Seedcake Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8-inch round cake tin. Sift 2 1/2 cups of flour with 1 teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt. Cream together 4 ounces of butter and 1/2 cup of sugar. Beat 1 egg and add to the butter, then add 2 teaspoons of caraway seeds. Fold in the flour mixture, then gradually add enough milk (up to 1/2 cup) to make a smooth, thick batter. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake in the middle of the oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool 5 to 10 minutes before turning out on a cake rack.
This said, I've had some good luck using a Martha White muffin mix and putting it in a 6-inch cake tin after lining the bottom of the tin with parchment. I use the Lemon Poppyseed mix, and before I stick it in the oven I scatter some sliced almonds on top. When it is cool, I drizzle a little bit of icing across the top.

Hmmm... scored Gandalf The Grey. ?
Then, I took the quiz as if I were Mr. Otter and got Smaug. Yo Whoa! Him not. So I got Nige to take the quiz himself and he turned into Bilbo Baggins. Sheesh! We've been married how long?

Mmm, seed cake! Very timely recipe. Funnily enough I was thinking about that the other day; my Mum used to make it regularly when I was a child, and I fancied making it again. the caraway seeds give it a very individual scent and flavour.

So many Bilbos - I feel as if I were in Hobbiton I took a leaf out of Otter's book and took the quiz as my boyfriend - Thorin_ a "strong and natural leader but unfortunately also very stubborn, proud and greedy. If you lose something precious you will go out of your way to get it back"! It actually fits, apart from the greedy bit. Thorin and Elrond... Not a good match

I scored Thorin. I think that quiz may be flawed. LOL!
