My cat has a spare piece of the vinyl we have down on the kitchen floor - he still takes his food out the bowl (when dried) and eats of floor itself however.....

Of course......dog and cat food always tastes better off the floor.....so I'm told......one of my cats, Rowntree, also thinks water is much better either right out of a leaky tap or licked off her paw......

Speaking of goofing off... I found this amazing video. It's supposedly a Japanese horse racing simulator, but I think you need to watch it for yourselves. I recommend watching it with the sound turned off, since the commentary takes away from the experience.

Glad I'm not the only one who puts placemats down for the pets.......... Cheers I do as well Liz. For my new kitten, I even took an old breakfast tray to make as his "place mat" because kittens can be so messy with their food. Biki

Our cat Mrs has a placemat too as she's such a messy eater!
