I think we should shoot for June 25th at 2:00 PM. Otherwise, we'll have to skip over the July 4th weekend and looking at mid-July to converge.
So put on your calendars and we can chat then. I'll post the Zoom information soon!

Do we want to try and schedule a chat next weekend or the following? We're 3 months away from October, so we really need to get some plans in place - specifically the dates. If we can nail that down, that would be most helpful and then we can go from there.
First off - who is going? I know there are some that can't, some that are maybe depending on dates chosen and those who are a yes. There are some folks that aren't on social media or horatians that I am unsure any information has been relayed to them. I talked about doing an e-mail chain to all those interested. Not sure what the simple solution is.
Thoughts folks?

The October Grand Canyon meet-up is still not likely for me but either of the chat dates should be doable.

I am a maybe depending on the dates. Early October might be doable depending on when.

Ugh cannot believe it is almost the end of July! The month got away from me.
Word to the wise -- if you ever get hit by someone that has esurance, take my advice. Go through your own insurance company and subrogate. It has been over a month and not one contact back by esurance despite numerous attempts, even by my adjustor (with the exception of his initial contact wherein they accepted 100% liability). Totally frustrating and a waste of time with his nutjob company. And it's a subsidiary of Allstate .... *shrugs*
In any event -- do you all think this is going to be a go? There are folks that I think plan to go. Don't know. Let's get a serious conversation SOON and make a decision. I would love to go, but I am getting to the point where I need to get some dates in order to get those into HR for my time off; and am getting the dates from my niece as far as my tenure in DC to help with her twins.

I’m planning on going. I’m good first 3 dates. I'm waiting for my niece to advise of when she would like me to come up and help so I will know this week the time frame I will be doing that. Has anyone been in contact with Phizz, Brian and Kim, Suanne, Sandra, Estelle or anyone else that showed interest in going? I can schedule another Zoom soon but would need to get that information to the lot that plans on attending.

Sandra texted me yesterday. I told her it was still on. Mentioned that first 3 weeks appeared to be in the lead. Will text back and ask her to put dates she’s interested in here, or to vote in poll.

Hi friends,
Sorry to have missed both Zoom moots. Many of you know that my brother Stan (not the one you met in SD; I have a lot of brothers) died on May 30; i was with family on both the scheduled dates. I will eventually get around to sharing photos of my European trip. I have none of the London landmarks, though Kathleen and I did enjoy a lovely day at Kew Gardens. What I have a lot of is pictures of the Tyrhennian Sea from various vantage points in Amalfi and Rufallo.
I can make any of the dates except the 18-24 of October. Which I can make work if necessary, would just have to take an hour out for a Zoom meeting on the Thursday. It's a tenure advisory committee, which can't happen if everybody isn't there, and rescheduling all seven people is a major production.
ETA: Flag is a short hop from SLC and tickets are pretty cheap right now. I'm happy to go in on a rental vehicle, as it's a good 80 miles from GC.

Hey Sandra, glad you're planning on going! And look forward to seeing your trip pictures! Depending on how many people we have, I think we'll need 1-2 rental cars, unless we go in on a family van (which can seat 7ish). So far, I think we have me, Pam, Sandra and Mags. Gayle talked about going. Also unknowns are Estelle, Kim and Brian, Phizz, Suanne. I think Jan has home repair plans and Gabby is assisting her mother in Mexico. Am I missing anyone else? I conferred with my niece and it's wide open when I want to come up. Kendall will be 2 the last week in September, and they'll have a house full so that is the only time that I won't have to worry about overlap. Maybe if we can get everyone on the same page (I'll have to see if I have emails for the unknown status-ers) we can have a Zoom to bring up some hotel suggestions, things to do and PICK A DATE!
