Just wanted to celebrate Trafalgar Day with my Horatian pals. HMS Pickle, my favourite star of Trafalgar - the little ship which sped back to England with the good (and bad!) news. It's also nine years since I met many of you lovely people in Portsmouth. I have very fond memories of that weekend! Happy Trafalgar Day to all my Horatian friends! And a toast to the ROYAL NAVY! PTP

The traditional toast at sea for today is "to our men." We can interpret that any way we please, I think!
To Victory, and the men that served her.

How time flies.....I was telling someone on Saturday about all of us standing on Portsmouth Green watching the Victory's broadside....and I have the daily reminder of the poster at the top of my stairs.....great memories....
Cheers

Time does fly - that was only 3 months before I met Mr AF and how my life has changed. He and I laugh over the fact we have similar photos of the beacon & fireworks on Governors Green. I have a lot of happy memories of Portsmouth - that I relive every time we go to Isle fo Wight.
