Archeologists carrying out an assessment of a location for a new condominium on Toronto's waterfront found the wreck of a schooner where the Queen's Wharf would have been. It has been successfully moved to Fort York for preservation and display. Here. is a link to an article from the Toronto Star. The ship was more than likely built in the US as an American penny was found in the mast step. Cheers

Quite a bit could be. Toronto's current waterfront is mostly reclaimed land, approx. 2 miles south of where the natural shoreline was. The old wharves and the old tired schooners moored to them were covered over with landfill, made up of garbage and construction rubble......3 or 4 other old schooners have been found, but they couldn't be preserved......the area is undergoing a construction boom right now, so stay tuned.....
