Yes you can. I'm signing the contract today and emailing it back to the hotel. Our hotel rate will be good from Monday Sept 15 to Wed Sept 24. If anyone needs more time I can ask the hotel. But I thought that would cover everyone. Don't think anyone will stay more than one week.
I'm going to start putting together the info for the webpage. But I can post the hotel info sooner here on Horatians once everything is confirmed.

They had a nice Destination Spotlight in our paper today on St. Augustine with a feature article called: St. Augustine A to Z plus a few other side articles on things to do and see in St. Augustine. 177 days to go!

I'd love to do a ghost tour, Bucky!!!! I love ghost tours (although I am a fraidy cat at heart!). St. Augustine would be a fun city to do one in. And I think they do one at the lighthouse as well. I remember Ghost Hunters did a show at the lighthouse -- really spooky!

Actually Ghost Hunters went there twice for two separate investigations!!! Yes, both times they saw something in the lighthouse. So very cool! I would love to do a ghost tour!

I think we should look into it! They have several ghost tours around the city, as well as ghost pub crawls (cocktails + ghosts = ghoulish fun!). Once the schedule is up, we can see what dates may work best. It looks like most tours start about 8:30/9:00~ish.

That's perfect!!! And if you get scared, I can hold your hand, Bucky :-) Bless you. I love watching the ghost hunting shows on t.v. but I hate being scared (which is why I do not go see scary movies!). I did ok at the ghost tour in Williamsburg, but I don't think I could do these all-night investigations that people do (I have had friends that have done them). Although they look like a lot of fun.

I was actually considering a ghost tour as a group activity. But at this time nothing is finalized. I'm probably going to go back to St Augustine the end of April or beginning of May to check out some attractions for the group. I'm was hoping to at least put up the hotel info by now but didn't get to it. I'm going to be at a conference all weekend and I've been so busy getting ready for that I haven't had the time to post.
Will try to get the hotel info up by end of next week. And I will start working on getting info to ShipoftheLine for the website.

I got my St. Augustine Visitor Guide in the mail yesterday. I haven't had time to total peruse it yet, but flipping through one of the places that caught my interest:
Bull & Crown Publick House: Venture off St. George Street an into an 18th century styled British pub featuring authentic fare and local favorites in a centuries old ambience in the heart of downtown St. Augustine. Or dine street level right on St. George Street. Don't be surprised to be visited by notorious British citizens like the garrulous Governor Patrick Tonyn.
Sounds cool huh?

I got my tax refund and we put it right in the bank account, so I definitely have money to go this year. I think it will be really great. Pubs, the beach, a light house and more! I am so happy! I really wanted to go last year and mismanaged my funds.
