Starting to think about what I am bringing to Erie and wondering what I should bring clothing wise. Besides a swimsuit and jacket, everything else is up in the air.
From visiting the Cabingirls around this time of year previously, I know the evenings are already starting to get a bit cold, but looking at the Weather Channel I am having a hard time deciding if it is shorts weather still. So shorts? Capris? Long pants?
Do we need an umbrella?

Layers! It could be quite warm during the day and cold at night. Sorry to be non-specific. I'm going to assume it's a little colder than in Philly, where it will still be quite summery in early September. And when we're at the waterfront, there likely will be a breeze off the bay/lake. But it's possible that it will get hot.
An umbrella or rain jacket is always a good idea. The festival stuff is rain or shine.
Incidentally, I'm driving, so if anyone wants to ship stuff to me to bring, PM me for the address. I'm happy to do it (within reason!).

Since I am flying SW I can check two bags so I think I will be ok (thanks for the offer Mags!). I have to bring a garment bag to carry my bridesmaid dress so I may stick some bulky stuff in there.
I actually did carry on for my trip that I just got back from and I was amazed that I was able to fit everything considering I brought extra sweats and yoga pants that I ended up not wearing. But it did get cooler in the evenings/morning certain sure. It was 58 degrees when I woke up Tuesday morning -- I loved it!
I had planned on packing some sundresses, shorts, tanks, and swimsuit but also some sweats and a jacket. I always over pack just in case though. I need to pack for the wedding as well, so I think I may be doing laundry once I arrive at Tracy's on Monday.

FYI - I ordered a visitor guide from www.visiterie.com and it arrived in two days. Lots of coupons we can use (Tim Horton's, breweries, wineries, restaurants) if anyone wants to order their own!

Our reservations for the bay tour are at 11 a.m. on Friday. So that should be okay. I think everything else is rain or shine.

I already got the windbreaker/raincoat out to bring with me. Canbingirl mentioned the weather has been really nice lately.
The suitcase is slowly filling in.
