So last night my husband put Excalibur (1981) in the DVD player. I was amazed at all of the now-familiar actors that got their start or early career boost from that movie (I never did see Ciaran Hinds, although I might have missed him). But lo and behold, there was our Kitty Cobham, Cherie Lunghi, as Guenevere.
The last time I saw the movie, I had not yet become Hornblowerized, and my husband and I had not yet picked up on the delights of the game Spot-The-British-Actor.

I enjoy that game every time I watch something.

And last night it was Rupert Holliday-Evans (the steward from The Fire Ships). You know, we ought to have a thread for all of the secondary HH actors -- unless you all think that each person merits his or her own thread.
