I highly recommend chasing an errant three-year old for ten days. Good way to keep fit. Or throw one. Whatever.

Hi Roz! It's lovely to hear from you. I hope your post means that you've been checking on the rest of us to see what's been happening.
I had a Fitbit One - which I really liked - but left it in the pocket of the Celebrity cruise ship bathrobe. It was a clip on design and I did misplace it a few times at home but always managed to find it. It did simple things like track steps and stairs and sleep. I prefer the clip on style because I don't always wear a watch. There were a few nights when I was almost at the 10,000 step goal so before going up to bed I'd walk around and around the living room, dining room and hall to make up those final hundred or so steps.
Unless I plan on buying a lot of stuff at the mall I'll walk. Including browsing up and down the mall and the going to and coming home it usually adds up to about 6,000 steps.
It was annoying to find that Fitbit discontinued the One and kept the Zip which doesn't really do anything.
