The shirt was originally sent to kit-kat I believe. If there are no volunteers I'll be glad to give it a home in between cons and make sure that it makes it to the next one. It is small enough that shipping should not be a burden.

Firstly, I'm really sorry I haven't looked in here for some time. I haven't been online much, and this time of year it's hard to keep up with 't'Internet! We're looking at costs of around $150 - $180? If my calculations are correct, that runs out at around £95 - £110??? I'm bowled over by the generosity of my fellow Horatians, but I can fund this without subscription. I still have a bit of money left over from the amount I had from HUK 2005 to cover the DVDs. It's a long story, but the DVD took ages to finish, so I was given a lower cost per item than originally quoted, so I had a bit left over. My plan was to put it towards the next UK 'do', but as the years have gone by there just hasn't been one. This would be a worthy cause for the rest of the money. I suggest that we keep in touch on this, and you get a final rough quote in the New Year, and I'll PayPal the funds before you send it. Hopefully the offered subscriptions from kindly Horatians can go back into their coffers and be put towards the next convention! You guys rock... TOTALLY!!!

I've finally had a chance to check in. Been soooo busy. Had a couple job interviews (so far no offers), working between 2 jobs, my mom's 85th birthday party last week and now, finally, starting holiday shopping. PTP - Based on current exchange rates, its about 95 pounds. Based on everyone's contributions, the postage was pretty much paid for! Still once I confirm every thing, we will work out payment and get The Chair on it's way home. As long as you're ok with the issue of not being able to track the package, it will go by US Post. As far as the Mathew shirt, it looks like we have 2 volunteers to house it in between conventions (shipoftheline and LadyJamers). Maybe we can do a joint custody agreement? One of you keeps it for one year, then the other person the next? Just a thought. So far it doesn't seem a lot of other items are getting claimed. The holidays are hectic so I'll give everyone some time into the New Year to claim items. Maybe by mid or late January, anything that isn't claimed will be opened up request for new homes. Thanks to everyone for participating.

Yes, US Post is fine. One thing is worth a mention - when you come to put a value on the chair, I'd say they mean the intrinsic value, not the value to Horatians. The actual value of the chair, as a bit of memorabilia, is probably not more than $70 - $80. Still happy to send whatever funds needed to cover the Chair's passage. Please let me know.
Just a thought, if you have any signed pictures of Paul left, you may like to slip one into the pocket of the chair-bag??? I can't remember if we already have a signed pic of him in there, but if not it would be a nice way to connect him with the Chair. (If there's already one there, or you're short of piccies, don't worry about it.)
Thanks again for doing this at such a busy time of the year. Good luck with the job-hunting, and a belated Happy Birthday to your Mom!

Yes the White Ensign is mine - I also have a suspicion the Union Flag at 15 could be mine as well. Need to check and get back to you. Yes do think Union Flag at 15 is mine.

As I remember, both flags came at the same time, so yup - they are together. :-)

If nobody claims the wooden fan, would anybody mind if I request it?

We all request or claim fans, flags, photos and chairs... and the indomitable Liz enquires about Paul Copley's boxer shorts!!! Style City, Liz! I seem to recall they are framed, though, so you won't be able to show 'em off at the conventions! Shame... a Matthews/Wolfie fusion at the next dress-up party would've gone down a storm!

Unfortunately the boxer shorts have been lost for years. The frame they were in shattered a few years back so they shared berth if you will with the rest of the traveling display items. Somewhere along the line they disappeared.

One of us must have The One Boxers and just don't realize it. I know I don't; they were still framed at the San Diego con and my husband doesn't wear those kind (and I certainly wouldn't fit in them). Quick, everybody, check your underwear drawer!
