Please use the money I sent previously to cover some of the shipping expenses for the items you are sending out. I know it won't cover everything, but maybe you can use it for postage or small items, that way people don't have to send you small amounts.

Thanks very much for your efforts, Sue. Will look out for the chair in a week or so, and thanks for tracking it too! And thanks for the Paul pic. That will be nice to keep with TOC! I'm sorry, I haven't looked at the 'left-luggage' items. Where are they listed? If nobody else wants them, there might be something I can give a home to. (Will send you postage if that happens). Good luck to all involved in planning Baltimore.

The very first post in this thread has the link for the photos for all the other con items available. Take a look and let my know if you want anything else.
Sorry but I didn't get a chance to put together a list of what's claimed, but it isn't much. And I haven't shipped anything else out this week. Will try to put together the list this weekend.
Good news. According to the postal tracking, the chair is in London. It's currently in customs. Per the website:
Your item is being processed by customs in UNITED KINGDOM at 11:54 pm on February 26, 2015.
Will keep you updated.

THE ONE CHAIR HAS LANDED!
I'm very glad to say that we had a note this morning from the Post Office that the chair was there, ready to collect. They'd tried to deliver it but we were at work. When I first went down they couldn't find it (It's big enough! ) but then rang again this afternoon to say they'd been looking in the wrong place, and it was in fact waiting for me. It was a great relief, after all the care you've taken to send it home! I'd have been gutted if it had travelled all the way to Bewdley and then gone walkabout at the very end of the journey!
So it was a quick job to hop down again and pick it up. I have to say the packing was just amazing! What a brilliant job! The box size was perfect, and filled with polystyrene nuggets and bubble-wrap, so no chance of it coming to harm. It seems to have arrived very quickly too. I had expected it to take longer. So a big THANK YOU to Suanne for taking such care of it, and for the big effort of sending it back. It's deeply appreciated by everyone over here! I just hope someday we'll have a nice HH event here, so it can be a star again.

Glad to know The One Chair has arrived home. I have no doubt that is one of the best traveled chairs in existence, certainly better traveled than most of us. LOL!

I'd also like to thank everyone who offered to send Suanne funds for the transport of The One Chair home. It was unexpected and very kind indeed, though I should have known Horatians are always ready to rally round! Fortunately we didn't have to use the donations in the end, as Suanne was able to keep the cost down whilst keeping the chair safe, but I'll always remember how ready you folks were to help out! THANK YOU, from me and all the Brit. Bunch! xxx

Glad The One Chair has reached it's destination safely.
The UPS Store did the packaging. Next time I'm by there I will let them know how happy you were with the results. They were incredibly helpful. Had a hard time finding the right size box to ship it. Didn't want it too big or the Post Office wouldn't take it. They used a "guitar' box. But they had to cut off 10 inches on the length to get it to met Post Office measurements. I dropped off the chair, ran a few errands, then picked it up and went straight to the post office.
Did you decided if you want anything else from the HH Con items photos? I've had a few requests for some other items. Again, trying to put a list together so everyone knows whats been requested. Saw your request McLiz, just haven't had time to respond.
Mom is feeling better but her cat isn't doing too well I'm afraid. Glaucoma and blood pressure are under control but now her thyroid issues are a problem again. Trying to get her back on her feet.
Again will try to get a list up of claimed items.

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. But life got out of hand.
In one of my last posts I mentioned Mom broke her right leg and her cat was sick.
Since then ( the short version)...
1. Mom barely recuperated from her broken right leg when she fell again AND BROKE HER LEFT LEG. This one was bad. Unlike the first, it needed surgery. She getting around on a walker now. On her way to recovery... again.
2. Mabel, Mom's cat was improving. However, I'm sad to say she took a turn for the worse and we had to put her to sleep. Mom was crushed. But Mabel did have a nice long life. Found her as a stray so we estimated her age. We thought was 13 when she passed but the vet thinks she may have been closer to 15.
3. One of my per diem jobs let me go. Or just took me "off the schedule". Just on call for them at the moment. So far no on call work.
4. I got a stress fracture in my left foot. Have no idea how it happened but I've been in this stupid ortho shoe/boot for a few weeks. Not healing as it should so getting a MRI this week. For some reason, walking in this boot/shoe is very tiring.
5. My bunnies were fighting. I had to bring one to the vet back in December. I did not think it would be an issue but apparently I should have brought them both even though only one was sick. The short separation caused a rift between the girls for MONTHS. Trying "re-bonding" the myself for awhile and finally gave up. Brought them to the second vet I use and they successfully re-bonded them.
And good news! My girls are going to be on TV! The vet I brought them to only does exotic animals (everything but cats and dogs). National Geographic films a TV show at her practice called " Dr K's Exotic Animal ER". The film crew was there when I brought my girls in and asked if they could film them while they were staying at the vet a few days. MY GIRLS ARE GOING TO BE FAMOUS! It's going to air sometime in October. Will let you know the details when I have them.
I'm determined to get a list together and post items that have been claimed. Once I go thru I'll contact people for addresses if I don't have them. I'm trying to clean up. Bucky, if somethings go unclaimed, do you want me to bring them to Baltimore? I have lanyards for name tags so don't buy any. Will put another post under the convention thread.

Sue - it is up to you if you want to bring all the unclaimed stuff. The lanyards - sure we can use those!
Sorry to hear about all the things going on -- but it sounds like you are staying positive which is a great thing to be able to do.
