Anyhoo, I popped in because I've just watched The Vicar of Dibley for the first time---he's so cute and giggly in it! It's a totally different facet of his acting! So squeeee! AND AND AND IT GETS BETTER! He said in an interview somewhere that the character he's played that is the most like him is Harry Kennedy! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I forgot to mention this--and I remember you telling me this when you recommended that I watch it eons ago (so glad I finally got to it!) It's just so cool to know. Usually I feel intrusive whenever I consider actors' private lives and personalities, so I refrain from that (and this reservation has been getting increasingly pronounced for some reason), but, hey, he said it himself, and it's delightful and adds a bunch of eeeeeeeeeeee, totally!

Have you seen Richard in The Golden Hour? He plays Dr. Alex Track who works on a helicopter medical team. It has been a while since I watched my dvds but the episodes are on Youtube ....... what isn't on Youtube these days I wonder. There are lovely screen shots of him in a white t-shirt, stethoscope around his neck, ready to give aid and comfort. I haven't even heard of it! Sounds action-packed, and I don't think I've seen RA in something like that in a contemporary setting. Thanks, mmt! And youtube is amazing. I replaced part of my laptop and learned how to mortar (albeit clumsily) thanks to youtube.

Methinks that's probably a video I want to watch when I'm the only one in the house! ~Phizz Take the phone off the hook, lock the door and make sure your wine glass is full ..... That's a much more entertaining look at the whole process than we had in Reproduction, which was a real class that I took for credit towards my degree.

I've been ... ahem ... "enjoying" Richard in a series on the Ion channel called "Strike Back : Origins" He's working for MI6 and is out in the field wearing (and not wearing ) camo. Every Friday night I need a very cool drink ... 'cause it's RA shirtless a lot of the time!! ~Phizz

I think this thread needs more pictures of our favourite medieval villain. This one. A brooding, troubled, anachronistic villain. And also our favourite ret-conned spy. Remember that one series of Spooks when everything was blue? Lucas rocks the pea-coat. If they should start making new episodes of Hornblower, it wouldn't hurt if Richard came onboard as one of Horatio's officers. Forget series 9, he will always be Lucas.
