The reviews are pretty dreadful; one guy said that he ended up cheering for the weather to win. He doesn't blame the actors, but apparently the writing was pretty weak. I'll probably wait for Netflix or Hulu.

I am with ship and jamers on this one I'm afraid...sad, because you know, soaked through Richard. Tho his next English movie looks very promising.

I think I said it in another thread... but the subject matter strikes too close to home for me. Movie making has become too realistic for me to enjoy watching a tornado destroy anything, even for Richard Armitage.

The other night my roomie and I decided to watch “Ocean 8” you know the Ocean 11 with an all ( almost all) woman cast? After a few minutes I sat up and said “Is that Richard Armitage?!?” It was!! He was the “villain” of the piece having gotten one of the women arrested for thievery 5 years ago. Very fun movie and glad to see him get his comeuppance!! One quibble ... his hair was too short 😮 I definitely like a longer hair on him 😉

There was a bit of a dust-up on Twitter about him in this movie.
You know the Armitage Army was all up in Dana Schwartz's grille over that tweet. Forgettable no-name actor indeed.

Chris Pine is an excellent young James T. Kirk but only Richard Armitage can say "Look back at me" and make you want to grab Margaret by the shoulders and turn her around.

And she watched the movie, did she totally miss the chemistry between Richard and Sandy? Because it was there, especially in the "flashback" scenes. Which is why I was like, "Girlfriend's totally seen North and South" when I was watching the movie. ETA: Someone "snitch tagged" Richard* and he replied with his usual grace--something like they originally had another very well-known actor lined up for the role but he had to peace out so Richard stepped in. *when people complain about snitch tagging, I'm like, you know Twitter is public, right? |
