I got my Canadian cash at Wells Fargo, most branches have small amounts of foreign currency.
As far as the reimbursement for me, either will work.
I swear I had another silly question to ask and now I can't remember what it was.

Let's hope not. LOL
Edit: Remembered my silly question. Does anybody know if Discover card is accepted in Canada?

Good question Gaby. Do most credit cards work in Canada?
I plan on doing the money exchange on my layover in Toronto. I just won't have time before I leave, especially since we are still without power and they HOPE to have power restored by Sunday. My anxiety is through the roof. Going to have to find a laundrymat before Sunday.
Jamie -- we need to decide on the train on Monday. Allowed one carry on and one large item (50 lbs or less and 62 li. in.) 8:15 AM ($81 + tax) 3:00 PM ($66 + tax) 5:45 PM ($53 + tax)
Or if those don't work, there are a few WestJet flights for a few bucks more: 9:30am - 10:22am -- $90.23 2:00 pm - 2:52 pm -- $90.23

Good to hear from you, Tracy. I heard that power wouldn't come back on for a long while in parts of Florida. I got a carry on and a backpack. I say that if we do the 3 pm one, we can see one more thing in Quebec before we leave and get to Montreal by 6 ish and maybe do something that night. IF we don't want to venture out at night (for safety sake) we could do the 5:45 pm. Up to you. I am leaning to 3, but 5:45 has its merits. I will let you do the executive decision on that. 😁

OMG we are 3/4 days away folks! I am very excited and but have so much to do this weekend. Oy. Got my lists going and checking it twice.
Jamie -- what hotel are we staying at in Montreal? Maybe Liz can help us figure out which train station we want to depart/arrive at/from to get from QC to Montreal? It would be much appreciated. I would like to get those tix this weekend. And yeah - let's do the 3:00 train.
So we don't have to scroll back pages -- can everyone please post their arrival time in QC?

So we don't have to scroll back pages -- can everyone please post their arrival time in QC? You want the main train station in QC and Gare Central in Montreal.......both should be the default stations.......

I texted you to see if you wanted me to make those train reservations today. Last day off until vacation.
Oh, and people- since people are coming different days - please put Day and Time of arrival to Quebec City. Thanks! 🤗

We don't have mass transit down here, so I am always a little clueless about how it all works and where things are! Jamie -- the 3:00 train is $72.43 with tax. If you want me to book us, I will.
