I have managed to come into possesion of extra region 2 copies of seasons 4 & 5....long, convoluted story, however, thanks Amazon.UK.....so if there is anyone out there who would like them and can play region 2 on their DVD player or computer, please send me a PM....first reply received is the winner.....
Last night's episode was interesting......the evil James Gillies is back and being transported by train to Kingston to be hung.....things don't go well....but the steam train was great fun.....
Cheers

Yannick Bisson is in a new children's series, Napkin Man. Hopefully, this link can be accessed outside of Canada, because Yannick signs, with a vegetable puppet....... Cheers

This article about Yannick Bisson features a picture of him bare chested and very young........very nice........(the series Repubilc of Doyle is another Canadian series set in Newfoundland......there was a Murdoch Mysteries crossover earlier this year and next week, Murdoch's modern decendent, Detective Bill Murdoch of the Toronto Police Department goes to Newfoundland to investigate a kipnapping......) Cheers

It's really kinda obvious in that still from High Tide that Rick (I'm not Bruce) Springfield is 20 years older than Yannick. I wonder how the casting director decided that those two should play brothers. I never saw the show but I bet it was epically awful. It looks like a Baywatch-wannabe,which is pretty hilarious when you think about it.

The new season of Murdoch doesn't resume until after the Olympics, but there was a teaser on Facebook......Murdoch goes Curling.......they filmed at a Curling club that dates from 1894 and the ice was restored to what it would have looked like at that time.....sand coloured ice and black rings, instead of the prestine white ice and red and blue rings like now.......and they were using regular household brooms.....
Cheers

I receive the Murdoch Mysteries updates on The Book of Face (incline of head toward QMM) and they had some fun pictures posted.
Curling... If I thought I'd be able to remain upright, I'd give it a try.
Netflix is taking their sweet time getting the latest season of MM in DVD. I am considering the purchase thereof, as my husband and I love that series so much.

Cheers Well, that should make all the haters happy. Probably not, actually, from what has been on the trailers.........the last episode was fun.....Murdoch climbed a telegraph poll.....I don't know why I found that so sexy.....they also splattered globs of human remains all over a crowd of people.......I'm glad I wasn't eating at the time..... Cheers

Yeah!!
HMSCody In retrospect, perhaps I should explain that the "yeah!" was for the eighth season, not for the gobs of human remains dumped on the crowd.
